Andrés Morate and his family are vine-growers and heirs of to knowledge and knowhow of his own vineyard being aware of the importance of the quality and the environment. Nowadays the varieties have joined - cabernet sauvignon and Syrah in red wines, and muscatel of tiny grain in whites, re-grafting the old vine-stocks of anger, in this way, preserving all his potential and - adjustment to the way, in order to obtain a better quality in the wines.
The majority of the fields have been planted in the 40s and 50s, with the varieties of red wine called "Tempranillo" (new wine) and the white wine "Airén". At the moment the vineyard "Airén" is being converted into "Tempranillo" and other improved varieties as for example Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, etc.
The reconversion is accomplished by the reinsertion of old vine conserving all of the potential of the roots and their adaptation to the environment with the purpose of improving the quality.
The grapes are recollected manually in boxes of 20 kg: at our own vineyards the healthy bunches are chosen, afterwards they are taken in perfect state to the cellar were they start their elaboration in little deposits of stainless steel and under control of the temperature.
No synthetic chemicals are used neither in the cultivation of the vine nor in the elaboration of the juice. We are responsible for the whole process of production and elaboration: from the planting of the vine until the bottling and labelling.
Viña Bosquera consists of young white, young red, and cask.red wines. Nowadays, in Winery Andrés Morate, has committed himself to an improvement and variety of the wines, possessing a room of air-conditioned casks to be able to elaborate Upbringing wines, and sufficient means to be able to control the wines and be able to continue offering quality of the wine.
The vineyard and the Winery Andrés Morate, lies in the Belmonte de Tajo, in the souther-east of Madrid (Spain), at an altitude of 750m. It is a pioneering Winery or Wine Cellar in the production ecological wine in this Region of the country. The environment is perfect to produce an ecological vine-growing, without big the need of big extension of vineyards.
The majority of the plots, approximately 20 hectares, were planted in fourtees and fiftees, with Tempranillo's varieties in red wines and Airén in whites.
